May Kick off the summer early on with temperatures already around 25°C and if you don’t mind a bit colder sea around 18 -20 °C or ready to take a light neoprene suit you will benefit from deserted beaches and enjoy the pleasant weather for trips, hiking, sightseeing or retreats.
June With temperatures around 30°C water 23°C , ideal month to enjoy a true peaceful and relaxing summer holidays outside of the main season.
July Temperatures around 30-34 °C and pleasantly warm 24 °C water, July is suitable for families with school-age children. It is already the high season, but it is a bit quieter than August, before the peak of the holidays for Italians.
August The peak season and the hottest month with temperatures 30-35°C and warmest water up 26°C is the liveliest month, for those who want it all - spend hours in the warm sea water, like festivals, cultural events, concerts and relax in the shade and privacy of a big garden.
September The hidden gem of the year, as temperatures usually do not drop below 30 °C and the sea is beautifully warm 23°C. Great for relaxing and peaceful late summer break.
October Still perfect for beach holidays with temperatures between 20°C and 26°C, allowing swimming in the sea 20 °C and sightseeing, hiking, sports and exploration of all what Sardinia offers.
Low cost months
November Average monthly highs around 15-19 °C with more frequent rains, the cooler temperatures still allow for good cycling, walking, exploring cities and ancient ruins.
December - February Winter temperature are still higher than in most northern or central Europe, interesting option for a digital detox, a short retreat, telework or experience the religious heritage and culture during Christmas or New Year’s break. Winter in Sardinia feels like spring with green grass and ripening oranges.
March, April As the cold weather gone with a pleasant average monthly high 16-20°C ensures again a good time for hikers, cyclists other outdoor adventures in the sunshine. Many festivals take place around Easter time
